NON-FORMAL METHODS IN FORMAL EDUCATION?

The project “NON-FORMAL METHODS IN FORMAL EDUCATION?” sets a goal to diversify and enlarge cooperation between formal and non-formal education organizations. Within the framework of a project 16 teachers and youth workers from Iceland, Estonia and Lithuania will introduce, analyze and summarize best cooperation practices between formal and non-formal education institutions used in their countries.

MEETING IN ICELAND. DAY 4

Day 4

Today we started from Reykjavík. Visited big concert hall and looked around in the city.  Visited Creative summercourses at Klifið.  Creative workshop with the children at Klifið and singing with Rebekka.
  Visiting Vinnuskólinn (teenagers working in Garðabær), summer sport activities at Stjarnan sports club and summer course at Draumar (dance, singing, theatre).
Visit to the Skapandi sumarhópur (Creative young peole working at their own ideas during the summer).
Visited Library and heard about different projects they do there with young people and children.  Reception at the Design museum of Iceland. Located in Garðabær. Meeting the Mayor and Head of Department of Education in Municipality.
